The Menu Bar Widget provides at-a-glance access to your upcoming events, daily tasks, and timers without opening the full Routine app. It lives in your system menu bar (macOS) or system tray (Windows/Linux), keeping your schedule visible while you work in other applications. This widget is only available on desktop apps (macOS, Windows, and Linux).

🍯 Functionality

With the Menu Bar Widget, you can:

  • View your next upcoming event with a countdown timer

  • See all upcoming events for the day

  • Access your daily tasks

  • Start and manage timers

  • Stay aware of your schedule without switching to Routine

  • Click to expand for more details or open the full app

The widget updates in real-time and remains accessible regardless of which application you're using. It's especially valuable for people who work in focused sessions across multiple applications and need passive awareness of their schedule.
