Mentions allow you to notify other members of your workspace directly inside Routine. This feature is part of Routine’s collaboration capabilities and helps teams stay aware of relevant updates and discussions.

πŸ’¬ How Mentions work:

Mentions let you:

  • Reference other workspace members inside notes or objects

  • Notify them when their attention is needed

  • Quickly bring collaborators back to the relevant context

Mentions are designed to reduce missed information and make collaboration more actionable.

🎯 How to mention someone

  1. Type @ inside a note or object

  2. A list of workspace members appears

  3. Select the person you want to mention

  4. The mention is added inline in the content

Mentions currently work with members of the same workspace.

πŸ”” How notifications work

When someone is mentioned:

  • The mention appears in their Inbox

  • Mentions are ordered from most recent to oldest

  • Clicking a mention opens the related object

  • Once opened, the mention is removed from the Inbox

This ensures mentions are visible until they are reviewed.

⁉️ Where to find your mentions

Mentions appear in the Inbox, alongside other actionable items. Each mention links directly back to the object where it was created, allowing you to review context and take action immediately.
